North East Marine Portal Workshop

The results of the North East Marine Education and Training Cluster will be presented at a workshop to be held at the Maersk Training Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne on the 15th of April 2008.

The short study, sponsored by One NorthEast, to investigate the shortage of higher marine skills in the North East of England has now been concluded. The study was well accepted by the industry and the results show that all sectors of the marine industry foresee the same troubles for the future.
The results from the study will be presented at a workshop to be held at the Maersk Training Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne on the 15th of April 2008 from 9AM to 2PM.
