However, the site is so extensive that it is not possible to monitor all the information published with the limited resources available.

The North East Marine Portal exercises no editorial control over any of the peripheral web servers in the ncl.ac.uk domain but reserves the right to remove material from them which breaches copyright, is offensive, obscene, defamatory, inaccurate, or otherwise brings the North East Marine Portal and Newcastle University into disrepute. The North East Marine Portal and Newcastle University will take immediate action if problems on these peripheral web servers are brought to their attention.
